About Cheesevideo
A cheese atlas at cheesevideo.com — built to replace fear, snobbery, and label fiction with names, microbes, and sources you can check.
Cheese is the job
Cheesevideo.com is not a shop wearing a documentary hat. The site is an atlas of cheese: milk, microbes, caves, and the legal name on the label. The domain is the address. The cheese is the subject.
How we write
Every specimen account is original synthesis from official specifications, government pages, and public food-safety guidance — not a reprinted encyclopedia entry. Notes on making and safety sit next to the names. We do not invent a premiere to look busy.
Images
Still photographs are plates for the atlas. They are not our own shoots, and we do not put a play button on them.
Structure
The atlas is organised by family, then by specimen. Nine notes cover looking, making, temperature, cultures, microscopy, aging, failure, safety, and how to keep a log. All three sit on one page now, so a name and the vat behind it stay one click apart. A Video shelf comments on other people’s films. It does not replace the essays.
Who runs cheesevideo.com
Cheesevideo.com is an independent educational project. It may show advertising. It is not a shop, an importer, a PDO consortium, or a restaurant. There is no office address and no customer-service phone on this site. Editorial corrections go to support@cheesevideo.com.
